Are you scared of needles? Needle Phobia!
As much as 10 percent of people suffer from a phobia called trypanophobia, which is a fear of needles and injections.

This can be due to childhood memories which linger, such as seeing siblings crying after injections or experiencing a clumsy injection themselves. My medical friends always say it is much better to get your injections from a nurse as they do them all day long and are more experienced at it than doctors! For some, this needle phobia can be so intense they actually avoid medical treatment because of it.
EFT is a great technique for reducing and eliminating this fear plus creating a sense of calm around a lot of scary medical treatments. I recently did a Facebook Live Video on which I share a discrete way of tapping whilst in public (like when you are having your blood taken and are scared of needles!) to reduce fear (or any other negative emotion) in the moment. I used to help me stay calm for a blood test. It is a great technique when you want to tap discreetly in a stressful situation. You can watch the video below.
