Headache, Paracetamol & Hammock!

by | Dec 19, 2018 | EFT | 0 comments

Even though I use EFT for so many different problems successfully, one area I have most difficulty in helping myself with is a headache … until now!

Tapping on a headache for me has never worked as I have so much emotion attached to my headaches. I used to suffer badly from migraines so any headache I get felt like a threat to getting a migraine which meant violent vomiting, excruciating pain and 24 hours in being incapacitated. Although I have managed to avoid getting migraines for some years now, the fear of getting a migraine is avoided by taking a paracetamol. As soon as I take a paracetamol, a big sigh of relief comes over me knowing that everything will be OK and that the pain will go away really soon. My whole body relaxes awaiting the improvement. I realised that, for me, taking a paracetamol had a strong emotional effect. So I wondered what if I could get that emotional effect that everything would be taken care of and that the pain would go away, without taking a paracetamol?

A couple of months ago I had a bad headache and cold. I decided to tap on paracetamol energy and particularly on the relief that the paracetamol gave me. Guess what! It worked!!! So yesterday, when I got a really bad headache and had clients to see, I asked Peter to tap with me. We remembered the paracetamol energy and I tried again – and it worked. I also asked my headache, what it was trying to tell me. The answer I got was to lie in my hammock. I told myself that I couldn’t because it was a client day. So I decided to lie in the hammock between client sessions and that did the trick! Headache gone and happy clients!
