Just recently we ran an EFT Tapping Training during the coronavirus in Singpaore, The day before the training was due to start, Singapore announced a Dorscon (Disease Outbreak Response System Condition) code orange alert level encouraging non-essential large scale gatherings to be cancelled.
This brought up a lot of fear from participants with some cancelling and others asking us to postpone. Two people cancelled, four had flown in from Bhutan and Malaysia to be there and we had come from the UK!
To say that it was stressful is an understatement! Peter, the level headed one between us, was confident to go ahead. He composed an email to participants about the safety precautions we would put in place to keep people safe.
We started the training by examining the statistics and that even if there were 100 times more people infected with the coronavirus, it would still have meant the 99.99994% if the population at that time would not have the virus. We also did lots of tapping to reduce the fear and put in place sensible precautions.

After the training we went on a cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This was just after the Princess cruise ship had been quarantined so our ship had in place lots of precautions.
Having experienced all this in the last month, I would like to share my thoughts on how best to keep yourself safe while doing EFT and fearless during this outbreak by doing some EFT (see video below).
Tapping on yourselF
- wash your hands thoroughly with soap before tapping on yourself
- if you are using a public sink, use tissue to open the door when exiting the bathroom so that you are not picking up germs from the door handle before touching your face.
- if you want to tap and don’t have access to hand washing facilities, use hand sanitizer before tapping
Air Tapping
If you feel more confortable, instead of touching the points on your skin, just above your skin avoiding contact with your face.
Imaginary Tapping
It is also possible to visualise or imagine tapping on the points. I do this at night when I can’t sleep but am too tired to physically tap on myself! It generally works better with experienced EFTers whose energy systems are already used to doing EFT.
Tapping with a client
Instead of tapping on your client, invite then to mirror what you do. Both of you will need to have clean hands before touching your own faces.
