“As soon as we walked in. Your warm smile to greet us and genuine excitement at running the workshop.
The room was set out beautifully and straight away I felt at ease in your capable hands.
Linking back to our ancestors was a great way of connecting to them and understanding how life’s challenges in times gone by have an affect on us that are passed down through generations.
finding time and space to appreciate what life must have been like for them.
Thus allowing us to reflect on the strong emotions we have. By creating a painting was yet another great outlet to explore what we are holding onto. Seeing our creations helped us to understand and reflect upon them.
The last part of the workshop was truly magical . Where you are able to observe your true relationship with your mother and your mothers relationship with her mother. To help form a deeper understanding of difficulties and obstacles that have such a genuine affect on one another.
By helping us to make sense of our past it allows us to move forward and if need be forgive and make peace. To become wiser, happier and inspiring mothers.
